Michael Stolpen is currently the Director for Broadband Solutions in South-East Asia. Based out of Singapore, Michael brings with him over 13 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.

In his current role, Michael is responsible for Ericsson’s Fixed Broadband offering as well as Transmission & Transport solutions. He works closely with the local Ericsson sales teams and customers’ senior management teams, with a focus on providing technology and solution insights in the areas of Network Strategy & Planning, Technology Evolution and Business Case Modelling.

Michael hails from Sweden where he started his career at Ericsson in the mid 90’s, gaining vast industry expertise while working in different markets, such as Ukraine, Turkey and the Nordic countries.

Michael has an all-rounded experience in the telecommunications industry, where he handled various roles ranging from services and support, sales and marketing to network design, product management and implementation. With an extensive knowledge of the Ericsson product portfolio, Michael has created and maintained product portfolio business plans, as well as developed and executed effective sales and marketing plans for some of Ericsson’s key products.

Michael is currently a Technology & Architecture committee member of the Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) Council Asia Pacific.
